Dennis Jones

Dennis is a 17 years old rising junior at Avon Old Farms School in Avon Ct.  He lives in Rye and began playing squash when he was 9 at the Westchester Country Club.  He has been ranked in the top 10 in the country in the 11, 13 and 15 years old age groups and was ranked in the top 20 in the U17s.  He has played for the New York and New England junior squads.  As a freshman he played number 4 for the Avon team which finished 3rd in the US and as a sophomore he played number 2 for the team which finished 4th in the US.  Dennis also enjoys lacrosse and golf.

 

Hadley Barr

Hadley Barr is a rising junior at Bronxville High School. A U.S. Squash Scholar-Athlete, she has been playing tournament squash since age 12 and has trained with Adham Abou Taleb for much of that time. She is now ranked 63rd nationally in GU17 and has been on the Bronxville Varsity Squash Team for the past two years. She has attended training camps at Harvard, Williams, and the College Showcase at the International Squash Academy. Off the court, Hadley is the co-president and co-founder of the One Love Club, which serves the national foundation One Love and raises awareness about relationship abuse. She is a member of the Bronxville Youth Council and sings with her school’s music group. Hadley is also a Section 1 all-league Varsity Field Hockey starter and hopes to play squash in college.

 

Coulter Mackesy

Coulter began competing in US Squash tournaments in the spring of 2010. By February of 2012, he won his first Gold tournament. In Feb. of 2013 he came in 2nd in a JCT and 5th at Nationals and consistently placed in the top ten in these tournaments throughout the year. Over the next several years he achieved a #2 ranking in the U11, and  #3 ranking in the U13 age group. Coulter played for 2 years on the Bronxville Middle School Team (the team won the National Championship in 2015) and played for one year on the Brunswick Middle School Team.  The Brunswick team was undefeated and was the #1 seed for the Middle School National tournament, but the team had to withdraw due to weather issues. In 2016, Coulter won the U15 New York Regional Closed tournament and represented the US at the Battle of The Borders. In 2017 Coulter won  the Baltimore JCT defeating the #1 and #3 in the country along the way. This victory catapulted his ranking inside the top 10 finishing off his U15 age group at a career heights of #8.

Tyler Mackesy

 

Tyler began competing in US Squash tournaments in the fall of 2009. A year later he placed 3rd in the U11 Bronze Nationals in his first Nationals Tournament. In the fall of 2010, Tyler won his first Gold tournament, and began competing in JCT’s.  That season he finished 2nd in a number of JCT’s and 3rd at Nationals.  He consistently placed in the top five in these tournaments throughout the year. Over the next 5 years Tyler achieved a #1 ranking in the U11, U13, and U15, and won his first JCT in Feb of 2016. His best US Open result was 5th place. For three years he played in the #1 position on the Bronxville Middle School Team and was part of the National Championship win in 2015. In 2015 Tyler represented the US at the Battle of The Border and the British Open in 2016. He has competed in the #3 position for the Hotchkiss Varsity Squash Team, a team that placed 12th in the Nationals Championship and 5th in New Englands.  Tyler also placed 5th individually at New Englands.
